#GABdetour is now underway

The approximately 95-day Grand Avenue Bridge detour kicked off Monday. Are you one of the people still driving to work solo? Consider walking, biking, carpooling, or riding one of the free RFTA buses.

  • Stay on the detour
  • Don't use South Midland
  • Bike, walk, bus, or carpool
  • Watch out for pedestrians, bikers, flaggers, and emergency vehicles

Support Downtown Businesses

A key component to making Glenwood Springs' a great place to live, work, and play – is a strong downtown. During the detour, it will be especially important to support local businesses, as this may be a tough time financially for many of them.

Aviation Expo - 8/19

The Glenwood Springs Airport is hosting a Community Open House on August 19th, from 8am to 2pm. There will be a 5k and Kids 1k race, live music, food, games, foam machine, skydiving demos, motorized skateboard show, and more!  

The event is free, but donations to the Airport will be accepted.

City Offices will be Closed for Labor Day, 9/4

City of Glenwood Springs administrative offices and non-emergency services, including city hall, the community center, and the landfill will be closed to the public on Monday, September 4, 2017 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
 
The City’s online services are not affected by the closure and can be accessed online at cogs.us.
 
City offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
