TODAY - Community Reception with the City Manager Candidates

You're invited to a community reception with the three City Manager finalists for the City of Glenwood Springs on Friday, September 9 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Community Center. Come meet the finalists (John Craig, Joe Neeb, and Jennifer Ooton) and ask questions in a casual setting. We hope to see you there!

Noche Latina Celebration

City Facility Closures 

On Tuesday, September 13, Glenwood Springs City Hall and the Community Art Center will close early for a city-wide staff training. City Hall (including the police administrative lobby and Municipal Court) and the Community Art Center will close to the public at 12 p.m. (noon) for the remainder of the day. The Community Center and South Canyon Landfill will have normal operating hours.

Emergency services will remain available during these times. For non-emergency assistance, please call Garfield County Dispatch at 970-625-8095. South Canyon Landfill Closure 

Beginning Wednesday, September 28, the City of Glenwood Springs will perform scale work at the South Canyon Landfill. To complete this work, the South Canyon Landfill will be temporarily closed to the general public from September 28 through Tuesday, October 4. • For questions about the Landfill or the Recycling Center, contact Landfill Manager Liz Mauro at 970-384-5375 or elizabeth.mauro@cogs.us.
