Planning for future transportation needs is at the forefront of Glenwood Springs planning. There are many planning stages the City must go through to be eligible for funding from the State and Federal governments.
Glenwood Springs Long Range Transportation Plan 2015-2035
The City updated its Long Range Transportation Plan in November of 2015. The Glenwood Springs Long Range Transportation Plan 2015-2035 outlines the community's vision for future multi-modal network improvements. It includes a detailed list of desired projects and implementation recommendations which is updated annually by the Transportation Commission and City Council.
